What to do in case of an accident?
 
General rule
In case of an accident during an walking-organisation: inform the president of the organizing club.
All documents have to be handed into Aktivia whithin 5 days or have to be handed over to the secretariat of your club..

What are you insured for?
Walkers registered with a club are insured (for body injuries - glasses in case of injury of the eye). You are insured from departure at home, during walking and going back home (if you take the shortest way).

Walkers not registered with an acknowledged club are only insured on the circuit and in the starting room.


Some more tips:
  • It is recommended and necessary that every walker has little notes from the health insurance with him (you always need 2 of them).
  • Never send the documents directly to the insurance company.
  • Take a copy af all the documents.
